I am a Mother, a partner, a family member, a dear friend, and a community member. I am a lover of embodiment and movement, dance and play. I cherish my time alone in the forest and I come alive in a crowd moving to live music. I am forever working on finding the balance between seriousness and play, and I strive to walk with soft power.

My path to doing this work started early in life. At the age of 8, my parent took me to a local Medicine Woman who would teach me how to understand, live with, and manage the sensitivities I was often overwhelmed by. I was blessed with family members who fostered my spiritual growth and were (and still are) my first teachers. When I was 12, I knew I wanted to be a therapist. Growing up in a family that was strongly impacted by intergenerational trauma, I developed a skill set of deep noticing and saw the healing potential of good therapy. Through my own trauma healing journey (which continues today), I started the work of transmuting the wounds of intergenerational trauma into powerful tools for healing. I went to college and graduate school for counseling psychology, with a special focus on holistic and integrative approaches to healing. I have now run a private practice since 2017 working with survivors of childhood trauma and I am humbled every day to witness the strength, vulnerability, and transformation of the souls who I sit with.

Psychedelics intersected with my professional path in 2019, when a friend told me that people were starting to get trained in how to use MDMA to treat trauma. I immediately applied for the program he sent me, and I haven't looked back since. I feel it is my ethical duty to learn and offer my clients the best possible care to support them in their healing journey. I believe that psychedelic work in combination with client-centered, body-based, relational psychotherapy is the best option currently available for treating the manifestations of trauma. It is my deep honor to be a steward and student of these medicines.
